Ascent, originally known as Mountain with the Moon, is a wallpaper included in Windows XP, licensed from Corbis. It was taken by Mark Karrass, who also took Blue hills, Winter, and Longhorn's Aero Woods. It depicts what appears to be Mount Rainier, Washington, USA next to the moon on the left.[1] It is no longer available on Getty Images and other stock photo sites with the exception of Photononstop. A high res version is available from the Corbis CD Backgrounds from Nature, which also has Blue hills at a high resolution.
