Greg Melander is a designer who worked at Microsoft from 2001 to 2016, and currently works at Oracle. He served as the visual design lead for the Luna, Aero and Metro design languages. He is also known to have worked on a handful of wallpapers, most notably Windows XP's Crystal and Ripple wallpapers. He also claims to have edited Bliss, claiming in 2011 to have "raised the saturation levels, adjusted a few flowers in the foreground, took out a few clouds in the sky and adjusted the mountain the far distance".[1] However, Melander joined Microsoft in February 2001, and Bliss was already in builds by the previous month, and did not undergo any further visual changes.
