img20 is a wallpaper included in Windows Vista. It was taken by Michael Haber, a professional freelance photographer Microsoft hired to take photos in Santa Barbara and New York City.[1] It depicts a field in front of hills at sunset, likely taken near/in Santa Barbara, California, USA. It is also one of the pictures available for use in the Picture Puzzle gadget in Windows Vista and 7.
Beta 2 builds of Vista include a widescreen variant called img36. However, no 1920x1200 equivalent of this was included in the final release. A very similar shot, although likely not the exact same one, appears on the Windows Vista page on the Windows website from 2007. Here it has been flipped horizontally, while a light teal gradient has been added to the bottom.
