It is unknown who designed it, due to none of the Light Auras wallpapers in the final release crediting the graphic designers. This wallpaper has often been compared to the default wallpapers of Ubuntu 10.04 to 12.04, which are also blurred and feature similar colors, so it is possible this wallpaper could have inspired those.
