img28 is a wallpaper included in Windows 7 as part of the Scenes theme. It was illustrated by freelance illustrator Adhemas Batista, whom Microsoft found on agency 72 and Sunny.[1] It depicts various abstract shapes in mostly shades of red over a dark purple background. According to the artist, it represents "universe that [features] many unknown forms as a colorful representation of the vastness of space".[2]
Adhemas Batista also designed the user account picture usertile19, which depicts a striped marble also seen in img28, as well as the Windows Live Messenger 2011-2012 scene Dark Hearts, which features parts of the wallpaper.
